Tim Nelson criou um par de olhos robóticos, chamados de EyeSim que simulam os olhos humanos. Nelson desenvolveu o olho robótico pensando principalmente no treinamento de profissionais da saúde para a realização de exames oftalmológicos. Por simular as reações de um olho humano, a criação de Nelson ajudará a treinar estudantes e profissionais na prática dos exames, principalmente aquele feito com um feixe de luz que permite descobrir importantes informações sobre o funcionamento do cérebro.
